Stone glances at the right-hand monitor, and notices they’re using two video cameras. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“No, Ruth,” says Stone, “use only one microscanner.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Are you being paid by the hour?” asks Leavitt. “We can cover the capsule in one half the time.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“There’s less chance of missing something when we both concentrate on one screen,” replies Stone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Let’s go directly to the inside,” says Leavitt. “We can assume they put a scoop on the thing to scoop something into it. Brother, they sure got what they were looking for.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We’re not here to make accusations,” says Stone. “We have a job to do, purely as scientists.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Maybe not so pure,” replies Leavitt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stone glares at her. “Continue the scan, Ruth. On the outside,” says Stone. Leavitt removes one of the video cameras from the satellite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, in Autopsy, Dutton oversees the work of his assistant, Toby. Toby is placing cage housing the body of the dead Norway Rat on a steel table. He reaches for a gas connnector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“No, don’t do that!” says Dutton over the intercom. “We’ll use the hands!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Nothing can happen, sir,” replies Toby. “I’m faster than the hands.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I want you out of the hot room,” says Dutton. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
