“We’ve no proof!” says Stone.
“The map!” says Dutton.
“Don’t be an ass,” says Stone, angrily. “This map only shows what Andromeda could do in the hands of an enemy.”
“Enemy?” replies Dutton. “We did it to ourselves.”
“Perhaps,” says Stone. “But this is hardly the time to organize a protest!”
“Another giant leap for mankind,” says Leavitt, turning toward Stone. “I wish I could believe you.”
“Whether you do or not, the only important thing now is to find the antidote,” says Stone. He turns to Dutton. “Let’s get on with it, Charlie. You test the cultured organisms for biologic potency. ”
“Alright,” says Dutton. “I’ll run ’em against a rat in Autopsy.”
“I’m going to seal up the capsule,” says Stone.
“Watch it,” says Leavitt. “Andromeda has altered. Its effect might be radically different. I’ll try to get us a photo of the mutated form.”
(* in the original filming script, Stone says “Good – later you can carry it on the picket line.” *)
