GUEST HOST: BRETT STILLO

At the Senate hearing, the questions continue over scenes from places in the film.

“-so-called biological crisis is over,” says the Senator from Vermont.

The White House situation room is dark and empty.

“As far as Andromeda is concerned, yes,” replies Stone. “We have the organism at Wildfire and we continue to study it.” Downtown Piedmont is on screen, as wind blows over the corpses in the street.

“We now know that other forms of life exist in the Universe,” continues Stone, as the agricultural station above Wildfire is seen on a sunny day.

“Thanks to Scoop,” says the Vermont Senator.

“Yes,” agrees Dr. Stone. “However, with this new knowledge, there’s no guarantee that a new so-called biological crisis won’t occur again.”

“Hmm,” says the Senator. “What do we do about that?”

“Precisely, Senator,” replies Stone. “What do we do?”

The Andromeda virus simulation appears on screen with “310,138 X” underneath the image. The electronic music gets louder.

The simulation starts to glitch as the virus gets larger and the music gets louder. The magnification zooms to “989,000 X” on screen, then the screen had a blast of green light.

The digital numbers “601” appear on screen as the music blares.
